Dr. Apostle Eugene Satterwhite began his ministry at the age of sixteen, and served in many leadership positions. He served as a youth leader of New Covenant Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Dr. Enda Travis. He was the first national leader of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Association under the leadership of Bishop A.A. Wells. In 1973, he moved to Spokane, WA where he served as an assistant pastor, youth leader, and choir director for the Salvation Inn Church under the leadership of Pastor John Vaughn.
Dr. Satterwhite attended Tacoma Community College for Journalism and Creative Writing. He earned a certificate of completion in Cooking and Kitchen Management at Bates Vocational School in Tacoma, WA, and attended Bible College at the A.I. Hardy Academy in Seattle, WA, where he received his D.Min. and Th.D. degrees. He was ordained as an Apostle in 1989 by the late Dr. T. Martin of Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Satterwhite is the founder and pastor of Shekinah Glory Full Gospel Pentecostal Church and president of the Lovinac (Love In Action) Outreach Fellowship for the past forty (40) years. He has worked with the prison ministry for 40 years and has trained numerous ministers throughout the state of Washington. He has established ministry in many Provinces of Canada and across the United States on many Indian Reservations, becoming well known by many Indian Tribes throughout the country over 38 years.
Dr. Satterwhite is the author of several hundred poems and worship songs sung by diverse cultures throughout the country. He has done dramatized skits for children, taught marriage seminars (with 57 years of experience), retreats, and leadership workshops. His books "Seducing Spirits" and "Good Grief for Hurting Hearts" have touched countless lives worldwide.
He has appeared as a special guest on T.B.N. (Trinity Broadcasting Network) and Daystar, hosted his own international television program "Rhyming Rhema", and has been featured on local and international radio and television programs. He also owned and operated "Papa Gene Southern Cuisine" restaurant.
Above all, Dr. Apostle Eugene Satterwhite has been a caring father and loving husband and best friend for fifty-six (56) years. He is truly God's anointed vessel of this generation.
